If needed, TicketLeap makes it easy to collect donations. You can create a separate donation event, or you can easily add a donation as a ticket type to a pre-existing event.
The donation can be open-ended for ticket buyers to choose their giving amount and you can set a minimum dollar amount to be donated!
Note that any ticketing fees you have set up to be paid by the ticket buyer will be applied to the donation.
Set up a Donation as a ticket type
- From the Events tab, select Edit (pencil icon) next to the event where you want to add your donation ticket type.
- Go to Tickets > Add Ticket and choose Donation from the dropdown.
- Add the donation ticket name, set the minimum price, and indicate the available quantity.
- You can also set the specific date and times a ticket will be available for purchase.
- Click Add Ticket and Save. Your buyers can donate when they purchase tickets or register for your event.
