With TicketLeap, event organisers can create specialised discount codes for their attendees. These discounts can be a percentage or amount off and can be limited by Event / Event Date.

From the dashboard, click Manage and select Discounts.

From this screen, you can view a list of all your current discounts, create a new one, or edit an existing one. 

Create a New Discount

Start by clicking the + New Discount  button in the top right (on mobile, it displays as just a +).

Discount Info

1. Enter the discount name and discount code using alphanumeric characters only.
2. Select the type of discount you want: Percent off or Amount off.
   1. Percent Off is based on the ticket price, for example 20% off.
   2. Amount Off is a flat amount, regardless of ticket price. For example, $5 off.
3. Indicate the percentage if you chose Percent off or the amount if you chose Amount off. 
4. Click Continue.

Select Events

You can set the discount to be available for all events or specific ones you designate. You can even limit it to specific dates and for some tickets but not others.

Choosing Specific Events  
If you want the discount only to be available for certain events:

1. Choose the option for Select individual Events, Dates, or Ticket Types.
2. Click the + Add Events button. An Event picker screen appears.

3. Use the search feature or scroll to find and select individual Events. You can expand Events to further refine your selection to specific dates or ticket types.

4. Once you've selected all your Events, click the Select Events button.
5. Once your selections appear. You can click the Continue button to move to the next screen.

Set Limits

You can set a limit on the number of times your discount code can be used. 

• Total number of discounts available is the maximum times the discount can be used. Once this number is reached, the discount becomes invalid.
• Limit the number of uses per order which prevents buyers from applying the discount to a large number of tickets on one order. Or you can tick the Unlimited option.

• Valid Starting allows you to set the dates for which the discount is valid. This is especially useful for creating a sense of urgency to entice buyers to go ahead and purchase their tickets.
  
  Note: For the validity start and end dates, the timezone being followed is the account's timezone. You will also see a reminder at the bottom.

Once done, you can click Create Discount and you are all set. You can now give this discount code to whomever you wish!
