How to choose the right account type

After you add your first paid ticket type, you must choose your account type.

Individual: Ideal for personal use. This account type doesn't require an Employer Identification Number (EIN).
Business: Designed for companies and organizations. A legal entity name is required, and an EIN may be requested by Stripe later in the process.
Non-profit: Perfect for charities and non-profit organizations. A legal entity name is required, and an EIN may be requested by Stripe later in the process.

Note: You cannot change the account type. So, double-check to ensure you’re choosing the right one for you!
