Testing The Measurement Code

Follow the steps below to confirm that your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) tracking code is correctly set up and firing on your event or ticket page.

Step-by-Step: Test for GA4 Tracking Code

  1. Open the Page You Want to Test
    1. Go to a TicketLeap event page that you want to test.
  2. View the Page Source
    1. Right-click anywhere on the page (not on an image or link).
    2. Select "View Page Source" or "View Source" (wording may vary by browser).
  3. Search for Your GA4 Measurement ID
    1. Press Ctrl + F (Windows) or Cmd + F (Mac) to open the search box.
    2. Type in your GA4 Measurement ID. It looks like this:
G-XXXXXXXXXX (starts with "G-" followed by 10 characters).
    3. If your Measurement ID appears in the source code, your GA4 tag is on the page.
  4. Confirm the Code Is Firing
    1. Seeing your GA4 ID in the source code means the tag is installed.
