This guide is designed to walk you through setting up Bing for connecting to TicketLeap, but we cannot troubleshoot individual Bing account issues.
Use Bing and Microsoft Ads to implement paid search and display ad campaigns, boost ticket sales, and track performance by integrating the conversion code with your TicketLeap event listings.
We recommend using Bing and Microsoft Ads in addition to Google Ads because they help you reach a larger market. Without Bing and Microsoft Ads, you are missing out on about 30% of the search traffic in the US.
To set up your Bing & Microsoft Ads integration with TicketLeap, please follow the instructions below:
Step 1
Create a new Bing & Microsoft Ads account if you do not already have one: https://ads.microsoft.com/
Step 2
Create a new Bing & Microsoft Ads conversion UET tag to track which ads, keywords, and campaigns are contributing to your ticket sales.
- Log in to Bing & Microsoft Ads
- Ensure you are using Expert Mode
If you are not already in Expert Mode, from the side menu, select Upgrade to Expert Mode.
- Access through the Tools drop down menu and then the Conversion Tracking sub menu
- Click on UET tag
- When the page loads, click on the +Create button.
- Name your tag and click Next
- Click to install the tag yourself and click Next
- When the snippet appears, you can see your UET tag number as shown below.
- Click Next and then click Done
- Your UET tag number will also now appear on the UET tag landing page under the “Tag ID” column
- Take note of this UET tag number to place into TicketLeap.
Step 3
Some users may wish to create a conversion goal.
- Under the Conversion Tracking tab, select Conversion Goals
- Select Create Conversion Goal
- Type a name for your conversion goal in the “Name” box, select the conversion type you wish to track, and click Next
- Fill in the appropriate values for the goal type you choose
